I am Jovonna Lacy, the owner of Lacy's Defense. I picked up an interest in firearms after taking an intro course in May 2021. As a way to spend time with my mom, I signed us up as a Mother's Day gift. Following the course, my trainer suggested becoming a trainer myself. Although I wasn't ready in 2021, I let my passion develop over time and became an instructor in 2022.

Lacy's Defense was created with you in mind! Lacy's Defense wants to be there for those that are afraid and intimidated. Our company is dedicated to properly educating those that are ready to safely defend themselves and their loved ones no matter how they may feel about firearms.

I'm not an instructor with law enforcement or military background. Instead, I am an aunt, older cousin, sister, and daughter who sought proper training to protect myself and my family. And I look forward to training you to do the same.
